Also, It would be best if it was sold at sally's beauty supply because I live near a sally's. I was thinking of a flat iron that can make black hair bone staright, also do I have to get any special products (that I can find at sally's) that have to be used with the flat iron so that I could get my hair extremely straight? ♥Thanks♥ I would like it if black people answer this question cause they know our hair type/texture, or anybody that have black hair!!!

Best Answer:

I am half black, and I have thick coarse hair. I use a flat iron by Nano. It is expensive but well worth it. It would straighten my hair when I would get out of the shower and let it air dry. My hair would be super curly and the Nano flat iron would make it bone straight. You can get it at Sally's.

I use the Chi Iron. Its really good because its super hot but ceramic made in which it protects your hair while straightening it. Its expensive but the best of the best. You can find them at Target, JC Penneys Salon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Ulta, and many other places.Im not sure about Sallys but the search will be well worth it. It comes in many colors and styles. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9gnMiS6NdRGhXAA8WKjzbkF/SIG=12tnfkppn/EXP=1188398906/**http%3A//www.hairstyles-pictures.com/pictures/chi_turbo_flat_iron_90228.jpg What I do is rollerbrush my hair straight with a blowdryer after it air drys, and then use the flat iron and then wrap. My hair comes out perfect every time. Make sure you use a heat protectant as well to protect from heat damage. Also, to make your hair flow and more silkier, you can use Chi Oil or Biosilk..makes my hair bounce like no other!! Here is a picture of my hair with the Chi process. http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sctm/v122/65/124/72800667/n72800667_30439309_9768.jpg My hair texture is fine and wavy...

a good friend of mine uses a chi. i got her hooked on it. it works really well with her hair, becuase it's ceramic. they are kind of expensive, but i would spend the extra money, and go for it. they really do work wonders. i would suggest buying a heat protecting cream or spray to use on your hair when it is damp, before you blow dry and then straighten it. it just protects your hair, and keeps it from frying.... good lukc, i hope this helps! :]
