I did Weight Watchers and lost 54 pounds. We had a contest at work and I actually came in second...the girl ahead of me lost 55. Weight Watchers uses a daily point allowance to help improve your eating habits. For example, depending on your weight you will get a set amount of points. Healthier foods are usually less points so it helps drive you to eat healthier so you can eat a decent amount of food. However, if you are really craving a hamburger one day you can simply adjust your eating habits for the rest of the day to allow for it. It is a very flexible system and if you follow it then most see great results. In general when dieting you should follow these rules: -Drink 8 (8 ounce) glasses of water a day. (If you are not a water fan you can always add the Crystal Light on the go packets to a bottle of water) -Take a multivitamin -Eat multiple meals a day such as 3 meals and 2 snacks. This helps your body realize it is not starving and makes it burn fat instead of storing it. Remember diets that starve you will only cause you to store fat once you eat. -Do some light to moderate exercise. Remember that exercise can be anything. Vacuum the house for 20 minutes. Take the dog for a walk. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Little things add up. Regardless of what option you choose congratulations on making the decision to make a positive change for your health. Good Luck!!!
